Set in the future, on a war-ravaged Earth, four soldiers man the last bastion - an outpost in a sea-covered continent - awaiting relief or the enemy, whichever comes first. But as the empty weeks turn to months, a paranoia descends that tests relationships to breaking. Especially with the arrival of an empty boat - was it the help they'd been so anxiously waiting for, or something far more sinister...

Beach Boys

One long summer night on a secluded beach in Scotland. Two groups – a set of English students based in Edinburgh, and a posse of local youths – turn up to party, and find their plans disrupted by each others’ presence. Rather than share a beach that is big enough for all, each side stakes absolute rights over it, leading to confrontation, violence, and ultimate tragedy for all.

It’s civilisation stripped bare, in the long tradition of castaway dramas, except that our protagonists are barely removed from civilisation – you can almost touch the warm glow of a city above the horizon. We’re never more than a short drive from safety – or a small step from barbarity - and it’s all a matter of choice which way to jump.
